Why? Because in the second war, after All For One pulls one last move that gets rid of everything and everyone Izuku's ever cared about, he happens to get reminded of just how much the universe hates him.
Sent to a different dimension where Quirks don't exist, but the Supernatural does, he now has to juggle between being a normal high school kid by day and the masked protector of his new hometown by night. All the while trying to unravel the mysteries of his new power and fighting off all sorts of otherworldly beings along the way.

(First off Izuku isn't totally a sociopath just think of it like Karma Akabane's Sociopathacy. He just has the tendencies like low empathy, charisma, lack of inhibition and love for violence. His quirk came out to be quirks he was born with two which is why he was a late bloomer and on top of that they are both mutations. After that he started acting differently in school. That when it manifested.
