Mature
When guarded orphan Samantha wakes up in a strange house with five other teens: charming jock Austin, introverted techie Henry, enigmatic loner Maddie, conspiracy theorist Keith, and aspiring dancer Lynne, none of them know how they got there or why they've been chosen. Trapped together, their unease drastically shifts to horror when one of them is found mysteriously dead. Suspicion brews, trust fractures, and tensions rise as the group struggles to learn the truth about their captivity.
However, things change when their captor, Mother, a cunning and manipulative AI, reveals to them that they are unwilling participants in a sinister social experiment broadcast to an eager live audience. Forced to endure grueling challenges designed to expose their fears and secrets, the teens find themselves pitted against each other in a psychological game of wits and survival. With every passing day, Mother's influence tightens, paranoia spreads, the nation controls their fates, and the house itself becomes as much an enemy as the unknown killer among them.
As the teens are pushed to their breaking points, Samantha must decide whether to keep her walls up or lead this fractured group to defy Mother's control. But to truly escape and regain control, they must rely on each other to show unity. Yet as alliances are tested and truths are uncovered, the price of rebellion might be their lives.

This story is not getting the attention it deserves, so I am attempting to "re-brand" it. Maybe no one "gets" it. If you want to read about "Normal" teenagers, maybe this isn't for you, it's more complicated than that. It's about a teenager who doesn't fit it, but doesn't want to, who has the best two friends that anyone could have. Who watched his father lose his job in the Recession and then loses his home, and how he copes, especially when he learns that their new house is haunted and the ghost is in his room. Michael was an average kid, although he's always stood out. He was a school jock but also a skater whose long blond hair almost reaches his waist. When his parents lived in a house in a home owners association like all his other friends, life seemed normal. Then his father lost his job and suddenly those "friends" weren't there anymore--except for his two best friends, Short Round and Dewey. The three are skaters, good ones, who live for girls and their skateboards. They're also basically good kids who take pride in being different without paying attention to it. When Michael loses his home and his family has to move they have his back. And they are there for him when the ghost girl starts following him around. Mariah was murdered when she was just 15, her remains were never found, although no one but her and her ghost friend, Crazy Girl, know where their bodies are buried. The house Michael now lives in is the one where she lived with her family, and her old room is now his. She appears to him one night, trying to taunt him, but against her will she is falling in love with the boy who lives in her old room. Slowly the two begin to fall in love and Mariah tells him her story, and of the hidden danger that lies up the street from him. A dangerous strangers loves to kill little girls, and his sister Kit

Like the Hunger Games series? Then you'll love ''Man Hunt'' When Alice awakes in a small, bare room with nothing more than a letter, a backpack, a change of clothes and some survival gear, she doesn't know what to expect. She has no recollection of how she got to where she is, or even where she is and she can't help but feel frightened about the whole situation. According to the letter addressed to her name, her parents signed her up for a new televised game show in which twelve teenagers will be split into two equal teams. The teenagers will then take part in a slightly modified version of a childhood game they are all quite familiar with for the chance to win a sum of €1,000,000 for every member of the winning team. When Alice meets the rest of her group, they soon realise that they are stranded on an island and they have no other option but to cooperate. They quickly find the instructions and map their team has been supplied with and are forced to begin a game which they fear is darker than it may seem. The twelve teenagers can't be any more different, however they must push their divergence aside and hope that they have what it takes to win the game and return home with the money that could change their lives forever. In a tale of adventure, action and deceit; do Alice and her team have what it takes to leave the island as champions or is there a more sinister fate in store for them? Is this really just a game as their letters describe, or are there darker forces at work behind closed doors?
