Tim doesn't plan on talking with Jason when he goes to crime alley, because why on Earth would Red Hood be there, right? ("Stupid fucker" Tim thinks looking back) That was mistake number one. His third mistake was not turning off his tracker which led to a very awkward confrontation the next day at work. Realistically he knows that he could've handled the whole situation better, but what's the fun in that?
