Simon "Ghost" Riley was a trained SAS sniper who worked as a lieutenant at Task Force 141. Recently, Task Force received a mission from Laswell. A highly trained assassin who happened to be going around the world, stealing intel and weapons from different bases just to take on a few konnis. This assassin went by Zero. Zero was originally from Russia, staying with a few family friends. But zero decided to move away and join a Spanish military base, kill switch. Kill Switch had all different kinds of military men and women. Half being assassins, snipers, bomb squads, and psychotic detectives. This all just sounds like a normal base, right? Well, no. They use their skills in the most gruesome way possible to torture civilians for answers to what they know about the people connected to their mission. Because of her amazing skills and knowledge, Taks Force found it hard to come across her. It took them about half a year until they finally had a hit. Zero had moved from Spain to Germany, taking on a private military base, Kilgore. This time, for revenge. Zero had a past with these men that she left unspoken. For obvious reasons. To make matters worse for 141, Zero wore a mask to cover her identity, for reasons to painful to share. As soon as 141 reached kilgore, they took separate ways to cover more ground. The colonel of kilgore happened to bump into Zero, keeping her in harms way. That was until he came face to face with ghost, who wasn't going to leave the base without a fight.

"It is widely accepted that the supernatural's existence is unfathomable, and those that believe in it are simply mad." ♰ Jezebel Barker was a young, innocent girl who resided in the English moors her entire life. She was a provider, a good girl, when it came to her three siblings. She was a Christian, devoted herself to her family's practice and went to church each Sunday. The dark, windy, overgrown moors were her home. She loved it there. She spent most her time with her father, Damien Barker, reading historical novels and discussing the political climate. But when her entire family comes down with a deadly sickness and passes away, Jezebel is left behind with her father. They travel to the Riley Castle prompted by an invitation from the owner himself, and Jezebel finds herself beholding a gothic, chilling, and enigmatic fortress she is not certain she wants to reside in. Alas, she has no other choice, and enters the castle's depths alongside her father to meet some strange individuals indeed. A tale of mystery, secrets, and supernatural phenomena dwells between the words of "Castle," and haunts the reader to the very end. ♰ [1st Person P.O.V] [Ghost x Reader] [König x Reader] [Contains Smut] ♰ Disclaimer: I do not own the Call of Duty franchise, its plot, or its characters. He was a shadow who lurked in darkness, She was the light who illuminated his existance. He was a puzzle wrapped in an enigma, She was the bane to his existance. He was a man after his own heart, She was his heartbeat. If he was winter, she was his spring, And he couldn't face it without her. Simon Riley was no stranger to loss. From the brutal murder of his broken family, to the life of every soldier snuffed out by the bullet of a faceless enemy. Having his loved ones, his friends unceremoniously torn away from him never got any easier. It wounded him in ways that, while not visible, cut him deeper than any knife ever could. The toll it took permeated every aspect of his existance, infiltrating his sense of self and dismantling his identity. A once deeply empathetic man found himself surrendering to indifference; suffocating meaningful connections before they had time to breathe. He sought solace in detatching himself from others before they could affect him deeply enough for their eventual loss to shatter what little humanity he clung to. Over time, a callous layer formed around Simon's heart- as though an impenetrable shield encased him. Throbbing emotional wounds slowly turned into numb scars, each one an indelible mark on his soul. It felt like he was drowning; being pulled under by an invisible undertow into the depths of sorrow. Every breath became a battle, each gasp a desperate attempt to surface above the crushing waves of loss. Through the suffocating darkness, there was no tranquility. No respite from the insatiable abyss that consumed joy and drowned laughter. It wasn't any one thing that slowly began to chip away at Simon's carefully constructed walls. By the time he became the cornerstone of Task Force 141, very few people knew the man beneath it all. The real Simon Riley, that was until, she came along. Story will include slowburn and erotica.
