I've always felt out of place.

I can't tell my heart who to love.

Yudai-kun, my sworn brother's husband walked down the stairs.

His hair is still damp, a towel draped loosely around his neck. He wore his deep blue pajamas, the fabric hugging the lines of his body perfectly. He walks into the dining room like he owns gravity.

"Hi, Harua," he says.

His voice is gentle. Familiar. Dangerous.

I smile. Or try to. My hands are trembling.

Because I know, deep down, this is wrong.

Taki-kun saved my life. He gave me a second chance. He loves me like a brother.

But every night, when Yudai-kun walks into the room like that, I feel something awful bloom in my chest.

I don't feel guilty.

Not anymore.

I want him.
I want him to look at me like that.
I want him to want me back.

I want Taki-kun's life.

And I'm terrified of what I'm willing to do to get it..
