The suffering of humanity ended when an Angel descended to Earth to punish the vampires who once ruled over humans. Instead of destroying them, the Angel stripped vampires of their power to compel humans and reduced their super strength and speed to a fraction of what it once was. To survive, vampires could only drink blood from willing humans. Any violation of this rule-drinking blood without consent-would turn them to ash instantly. This forced vampires to live cautiously, respecting the boundaries set by the Angel's decree.

Though the peace between humans and vampires was hard-earned, it came at the cost of countless wars and rivers of spilled blood. After years of struggle and negotiations, a fragile harmony was achieved. Vampires still exist and now live quietly, integrated into human society.

But this peace is deceptive. Beneath the surface of this tranquil coexistence lies a storm waiting to erupt. Something big is coming-something that will shatter this delicate balance and change everything, especially for one individual who never imagined how intertwined their life would become with the world of vampires.

She also meets a beautiful and charming merman, named Leomaris, that would make any female's heart skip a beat. She has no idea what's happening to her or what she's becoming until she has an interesting discussion with her mother. Is Silver a special angel or not even one at all? Just because she has wings means nothing. Silver has quite the battle while she struggles with love, being accepted, and control of herself.
