Malika is without her pride. 

The outsider pride forced her to flee from her home, her friends, her family. Her younger sister Sarabi, left with her along with their new appointed guard, Zazu. Along the way, the sisters were separated, the hornbill with Sarabi, and Malika alone. While searching for her sister, Malika stumbles upon two lions, Taka and Mufasa. 

While she may have lost her pride to the outsiders, she may have gained another.

Kamaria was lonely. Being left in an oasis alone, Kamaria was found by a meerkat, Timon, and warthog, Pumbaa. Deciding to give the young lion cub a chance, they take her into their little misfit circle. When they come back one day with another lion cub, her whole world is flipped upside down. When they are forced to return to The Pridelands to face Mufasa's evil brother Scar, will Shani fight her fears to help Simba take his place as king and find out who she truly is within herself?
