One lost boy; one old city.
And thus began the end of a story older than the Sapiens.

She'd always told them not to say it, not to feel it. The 'us' they talked about was temporary. But the more she reminded them, the more they fell, harder and harder into the abyss of her eyes. Until dying there was easier than crawling out.
