**Prologue**

A broken vase lay shattered into pieces on the floor
as thunderstorms raged through the dark night, pouring down heavy rain.

Screams echoed from a nearby room, but the howling of the dogs outside drowned out the cries.

A man listened intently as the desperate pleas resonated in the night.

He entered the room to investigate what was happening, and what he saw was difficult to comprehend- a sight he could hardly believe or dare to accept.

In the chaotic room, a girl was crying her heart out, consumed by fear and pain. After a few minutes, she fainted on the floor, lying there like a lifeless body.
