When the perfectly painted daughter of the Martinez family in Freeridge makes a promise to the bad boy Santo, Oscar Diaz, her entire life changes. She's not allowed to be with him because of who he is but she has to prove to her family that being with him is the right choice. Oscar wants to build a life with Alana but she's too worried about what her family will think. It all floods out on New Year's Eve right after a tragic death in the family. Her younger brother, Ruby Martinez, goes off and joins the gang that Oscar is in. All while she has spent years trying to protect his brother, Cesar Diaz, from that life. Fates are changes and stars are aligned all while Alana holds promises deeply to her heart.
