When Life Never Ends- A Tuck Everlasting Sto...
One hundred and twenty-three years after the events with Winnie Foster. Sixty-eight years since her death. Two hundred and twenty-five years since Jesse Tuck was born. And twelve years since Kelley Webber was born. All of these sentences have the same thing in common. Time. So much time. Four hundred and twenty-eight years in time to be exact. In all of this time, no one figured out their secret. Until the first day of August 2016.
When Kelley Webber visits her aunt's house in Treegap, New Hampshire she stumbles upon a mysterious booklet that leads her to the 150th annual Treegap Fair where she discovers a secret that would change how she thought about life. And when it's all over, Kelley must decide if she too wanted to become part of their secret, forget about the secret, or try to find a way to get the Tucks back onto the wheel. The wheel of life and death.
If you haven't read "Tuck Everlasting" go read it! It's the greatest book ever. Trust me. The story of life and how you don't need to live forever is so well written in this book. When Winnie Foster meets Jesse Tuck she is shown the world and how infinite life is amazing. But then Angus Tuck shows Winnie that without death there is no life and that living forever isn't right. The story is great and you should go read it as soon as possible.
This story takes place after the story in "Tuck Everlasting". So spoiler city! Also:
"Does the story end? Or never end?
Does the secret fade?
Or is it everlasting?" (From the song "Everlasting" from Tuck Everlasting the Musical)
The answer is no, the story doesn't end. This is just the next chapter.
So sad that Tuck Everlasting is off broadway. I love all the songs from it and it deserved to stay.
