An Honest Man [The Script/Danny O'Donoghue F...
Behind the fame, behind the cash, behind the mask, is a man. The man isn't what people expect him to be. The man isn't what people want him to be. He doesn't finish recording and file through a wad of bank notes in his pocket. Or go out clubbing all night just to get wasted. He's not like that, not really. Of course he does do these things, from time to time, but he can't enjoy doing them. He just can't. Like how he can't wake up to find a number one hit sitting on the piano. Or how he can't come home to give his wife a kiss and his children a cuddle. It would be impossible. It would be a lie to say he could, and I don't tell lies.
I'm a honest man; I'm that man. I'm Danny.
