WINNER OF THE 2016 CONTEMPORARY READS AWARDS & PREVIOUSLY A FEATURED STORY

There's a thin line between sanity and madness, if there's a line at all. Ten days before Ashley Clarke's eighteenth birthday, her life changes forever; nightmares get up and walk, strange marks appear on the back of her hand, and a shadowy group emerges to silence the girl forever.

Only Kasper, a strange boy who saves her life from the deadly organisation known as the Order, can help Ashley unlock the secrets of her past before it's too late.

Ashley plunges into a dark world where she can't trust anything - especially not herself.

Hmm....
Usually epigraphs are at the beginning of chapters, not chapters in and of themselves

Amazing quote, and a great way to start! You've already piqued my curiosity. On with the book!
This reminds me so much of the song 'Once Upon a Time' from Kamelot. It goes something like this: I won't stay to stand in line or wait for God's light to shine over me. I wait for the storm. I dunno why, but this reminded me so much of it

Loved this quote so much, had to look up the poet. Can't wait to see how this complements the story.
