Chan was just 20 years old and about to take on a responsibility that he wasn't sure he could handle.
Born to a drug addicted mother, and never having known his father, he grew up taking care of himself. When his mom had more kids, things were bound to fall apart.
After he and his younger brothers were taken away, Chan found out he had MORE siblings.
Now an adult, he realized he was the only one who could take care of all these kids.
It wasn't going to be easy, but he knew that somehow it was going to be worth it.
What he didn't anticipate is just how much guidance and discipline kids need.
