This book is based off of the Netflix series Outer Banks. It takes place before the show starts when Kiara is in her "kook year" as mentioned in the show.

Please note that this isn't an average romance. Rafe is a complicated character and it'll be hard to root for him at times. It's all a part of the story which Kiara has to deal with. I'm trying to keep it as real as possible. Rafe has a soft spot for Kie and these characters just have undeniable history. The beginning may be a little slow at times, but every element is crucial to Kie's Kook year. So hopefully you enjoy reading this fictional prequel 🩵
