Dahlia Nightingale has never been good at making friends, or being social at all. I guess social anxiety does that to a person though. Most people think she's a weirdo because of how quiet and to herself she is. But, in all honesty, Dahlia doesn't mind being alone. In fact, she prefers it over having to talk to people.
Dahlia's mom died when she was 10, ever since then, her dad hasn't been the same, for obvious reasons. But, he doesn't have the best way of grieving, he's an alcoholic and is never around the house to see or spend time with Dahlia. It's safe to say the great relationship she once had with her father, is now gone.
There are two people in all of Nevermore that Dahlia likes to be around, Enid Sinclair and Eugene Ottinger. They're the only company she needs and they actually like her for her. Other than those two, Dahlia is completely by herself.
That is, until a certain dark-haired, monotone girl shows up and flips Dahlia's world upside-down.

She's a dancer so naturally she joins the dance team. Which is how she meets Enid Sinclair. She feels an immediate pull to her and is hoping that maybe Enid could be the reason she needs. Only Enid doesn't seem to want to be friends with her. She snaps at her in their first encounter and Minny takes it at face value. She figured she'd just keep her distance and look for her reason elsewhere, but it's a little hard to when they're both the best dancers on the dance team. It seems like it'll just be something they have to deal with. But when their bickering gets a little too out of hand, their dance coach takes matters into her own hands, locking them in her office together until they learn how to get along or be kicked off the dance team. Not wanting the latter, they force themselves to open up some. But what happens when Minny learns the truth as to why Enid seems to not like her?
