"Can we be friends?" Nix asked me. She was standing in front of me, wearing her usual friendly facial expressions.

After some time... I got to see this woman again. Akala ko ay ayaw niya ng archery, so bakit siya nandito?

"You are unbelievable." I directly said and started to walk away. But Nix always has the guts to pester my feelings through her presence.

I was walking in the pathway of this archery private school when Nix's voice lingered in my ears as she hindered my way.

"Teka lang. What's wrong with you? Ito yung gusto mo 'di ba?" Nieves asked me innocently.

Do I need to be happy because she is asking me to be her friend, to be in her life again?

"We are ex-lovers for goddamn's sake, Nieves." I said and Nieves' mood was shifted. Akala niya ata ay nagbibiro ako. Nix slightly laughed and looked at me once again. I was standing in front of her and displayed my emotionless face, trying hard to hide any feeling I still have for her.

"That's good, we have a past." Nix's wink as she enjoyed riding the conversation with me.

"Chaotic past.." I whispered in my head. Hindi ko rin inalis ang tingin ko sakaniya.

"You think this is good?" I frankly asked Nix and she nodded before smiling at me. Oh god, I hate those flirty smiles.

My eyes never leave her. I stared and tried to remember every detail of her as long as I could.

"And I saw your archery skill, always got a perfect score. This feeling of mine was too familiar so I got to ask you to be my friend, and I found out that we already have a past. Isn't that nice?" Nix asked once again and her sweet flirty smile never fades.

"Yeah nice... to the point that my brain got all the flashbacks and memories we had ever since, from always competing against each other and loving you secretly, to deceiving you to be my woman for a day during our senior high school year... nice." My brain instantly whispered.
