"I apologise, Miss Malfoy." The hat said only to her before it shouted out, "Gryffindor!" for the rest of the hall to hear.
Professors and students were shocked when Sirius Black was placed in Gryffindor, but to have a Malfoy join him? That was unheard of. Shock rippled through the room as Cordelia walked to the Gryffindor table with her head low.
Out of all the houses, Gryffindor was her last choice. If she'd been put in Ravenclaw, maybe even Hufflepuff, her parents might've understood... But Gryffindor? She was a dead witch standing.

"No," he called back to her. "Please, Sirius!" He turned around, his eyebrows furrowed together. "Please?" he said. "Sirius? What's the matter with you today?" She looked down, avoiding his eyes. "Curse me!" he continued, edging closer to her. "Hex me! Go on, yell at me! Get your book back! You never let me push you around!" She stayed silent, her nose tingling and eyes becoming misty. "Talk to me," he said. She jumped, not realizing just how close he had gotten to her. She could feel his breath on her face, his body smelled clean, like soap. He placed his hand under her chin and lifted her head so she had to look at him. "Ditch class with me."

NOTHING GIRL || Remus Lupin

57 parts Complete

I need to get away I need to get away I need to get away Helia Blacksmith and people had never got on. Her blank stare and chilling gaze were enough to send most of the inhabitants of Hogwarts scrambling away. She never smiled, never laughed, never cried and never screamed. The only remotely interesting thing about her is the curious way her enemies end up being discreetly punished and the fact that every night, without fail, she disappears out her her dormitory to who-knows-where. And the Marauders are curious. Moony, Wormtail, Padfoot and Prongs are about to take on a challenge. And as Remus is dragged further into Helia's world, he finds himself inexplicably drawn to Helia, the girl behind the carefully constructed mask and the stares wiped blank and the mystery. But Helia isn't going to make it easy for them to find her. She vanishes into thin air and lays traps and does everything in her power to eternally mess the the original Messers. But she can't help noticing one of them above the others. And in an internal battle she has learned to hide, what will win: her mind, that kept her protected for sixteen years, or her emotions, that have finally resurfaced after six? ///Cover by the fabulous @--feras ///
