Natalie Madeira Wilson always felt like an outsider in Hawkins. Maybe it was the way people looked at her mom's accent, or the fact she's from BogotΓ‘, Colombia. She'd been three when they moved to Hawkins - too young to remember the city, but just old enough to feel different.
Unlike most girls her age, Natalie had no interest in boys. Some said it was a phase, or that she just hadn't met the right one. But not every seventeen -year-old girl dreams about homecoming dates and first kisses. Not every girl secretly watches the one sitting across from her in Mrs. Click's class, wondering what it would be like to hold her hand.
But crushes had to wait - because people were disappearing, her best friend abandoned her, monsters were real, and a girl with superpowers had just turned the whole town upside down. And just when Natalie thought the worst was over... her crush got involved, too.

Moving into the small town of Hawkins during her sophomore year of high school wasn't a treat, but she didn't let it ruin her spirits too much. In fact, she even made some new friends along the way. Granted, most of them were in middle school and were major nerds, but that didn't bother her. She even joined in on some of their DnD campaigns whenever they invited her. It was fun, that was until one of the kids, Will, went missing. Along the way to finding him, (Y/N) befriends some people from her own school, including the goody-two-shoes Nancy Wheeler, and her boyfriend, Steve "The Hair" Harrington. She never really understood why everyone was obsessed with Steve. Or was everyone obsessed with his hair? She never knew. He could be a real asshole sometimes, too. But for whatever reason, she finds herself becoming closer with him the more they hang out. Maybe the king himself wasn't all too bad. - I've rewritten this book as I didn't like the plot all too much! You can find it on my profile titled "Waiting For A Girl Like You". She's not popular, but she's also not outcasted. Victoria tried to be nice to Gareth the first few times they interacted, but eventually she gave up and they've never liked each other since. So when she has an odd and unusual encounter with him, she's very confused, but then instead of just simply not liking him, she ends up hating him. Or she thinks she does. Now she's stuck on this emotional roller coaster, dealing with her home life with her dad always away on business trips and watching her occasionally trouble maker sister, and then suddenly when one of her sisters friends goes missing, she has to deal with the consequences of it with her expanded family. Also in this story you are Victoria, so if their is anything you want to change like outfits, or substitute in a different hair color or whatever, feel free to do so. I'm also thinking about making y/n stories because like yeah...
