Fire: Fire & Brimstone Vol. 1 (Completed)
Jai was my strength, Noel, my sanity, and Gideon, well, he was my safety.
They were the first real family I'd ever had and I'd do anything to keep them, protect them.
I'd die for them and I was afraid that, in the end, my life would be exactly what was asked of me.
College freshman, Riley Shepard thinks he is nothing but a normal boy, except for the crippling shyness, social ineptitude, and, every once in a while, seeing things that don't exist. Other than that, he is definitely normal, or at least he tries to be. Having left his strict, overbearing foster mother behind him, he jumps feet first into life as a college student but college isn't exactly what he expected either. With a roommate who hates his guts and a group of friends who treat him more like a child than a peer, he starts to question whether being a normal college boy is really all it's cracked up to be.
But when one fateful night opens his eyes to a universe he never knew existed, he slowly comes to realize that there isn't much about him that is normal after all. Faced with supernatural creatures out for his blood and a group of three beautiful, intense males who may be after more than just his safety, Riley finds himself thrown into a world he isn't remotely prepared to accept.
Life threatening attacks, reality altering truths, and a never ending list of unanswered questions are just a few of the problems that plague him, and he is forced to choose between being normal and having the life he'd always wanted but never thought he could have: friends, family, freedom, love. In exchange, he may only have to sacrifice his life. Lucky for him, some things are worth dying for.
What would you do if you'd finally found your family, your home, the place where you belonged?
What would you give for those you loved most?
