Summertime is for soaring around and hanging your school bags in the closet. My buddies and I were eager for this relaxation to help forget the tragedy of a previous friend's murder case. Despite the challenges of life, we make an effort to persevere. Coming out leaves a lasting impact on me as Dustin takes down the crucifix over his bed. Around the time when Beth is blossoming from her shell, Carson develops a new addiction. Finally, Mandy's family life keeps deteriorating. This is more than even Phineaus and Ferb accomplished in a single summer! But regrettably, everything would go south. From the splattering of my consciousness with fuzzy portions of my day and the skin crawling appearances of mysterious notes. To boyfriends who associate with the wrong people, put on tough exteriors to feel validated inside, and even obstruct the assimilation of a harmful figure's intentions. All of this culminates into carnival day, when yet another child's blood washes the floors of BerkVille. What took place? Who was the criminal? Who was the victim, and could it possibly be...

Highest rank: 4 in #Teen Three best friends, one bad boy on the run from the police and the 'killer' sleepover none of them saw coming. *** The whole town wasn't surprised when Julian Grey was charged and then sentenced for the murders of his two schoolmates. After all he was the resident bad boy - smoking in hallways, regular detention, always getting into fights. But no one expected the van taking him to prison to crash, allowing him to escape. On a night when most of her schoolmates were partying, uninvited and unpopular Lola was busy minding her own business, watching her favourite kdrama when Julian broke into her not so secure room, claimed that he's been framed and begged her to hide him from the police. With someone's life now on her hands, Lola must decide if this is a risk worth taking. Should she help Julian or will this sleepover turn out to be a deadly one? 3rd place in the Seasonal Contests Teen fic genre :)
