Its no secret that Heaven - or at least the archangels - and Hell don't like the fact that Crowley and Aziraphale are so close. Eventually, the archangels decide to take matters into their own hands when even after the not-apocalypse, the two stuck together instead of fighting for Heaven or Hell. Gabriel and Michael confront Aziraphale with a deal and if he is able to uphold his end, Heaven and Hell will leave Aziraphale and Crowley alone for the rest of eternity, but if he fails? Well, it might be the last time he sees Crowley.
