Wren never expected her life to change the moment she set foot in the Riders Quadrant at Basgiath War College. But everything shifted when she met Liam Mairi. Loving him was effortless, bright, and full of promise. Losing him was shattering.
His death left Wren broken in ways even her powerful dragon, Ryuu, couldn't mend. Grief made her question everything-her strength, her future, even her place among her friends. Ridoc's reckless jokes, Violet's fierce loyalty, and Rhiannon's steady hand are the only things keeping her tethered to a world that feels dimmer without Liam in it.
But when Ryuu, her Red Swordtail Dragon, chooses a mate, Wren finds herself bound to another in a way neither of them expected. Their bond is raw and undeniable, forged in fire and loss. Yet letting herself feel something new feels like a betrayal of Liam's memory.
Now Wren must decide if love after loss can be just as fierce, and if her heart has the courage to beat again.

A DragonBlood Girl || Xaden Riorson Fan-Fiction
He loved Violet Sorrengail. But when he meets Aria Hale ... a Dragonblood with impossible power and a pull he can't explain ... everything shifts. She's his mentor. She's forbidden. And if he's not careful... she'll be his downfall. Born a Dragon Blood - Aria Hale is a rare and legendary descendant of ancient dragon riders whose magic flows deeper than human blood - she stands apart from every cadet, rider, and even wingleader at Basgiath War College. Her connection to dragons isn't merely a bond; it's a living force coursing through her veins. Gifted with three signets instead of one, she has so far awakened two: the power to forge unbreakable mind-to-mind bonds with anyone she chooses, and the ability to heal others, though never herself. Her third signet remains an enigma, a dormant power waiting to be claimed. When Xaden Riorson transfers to her post after graduating, she is assigned a usual task: to train him. Her approach is firm yet kind, her presence commanding but gentle - a stark contrast to the cold rivalries that define Basgiath. As she pushes Xaden to sharpen his speed, master his own signet, and survive the brutal games riders face, he can't help but notice the strength and warmth she carries. Separated from Violet Sorrengail, the love of his life, Xaden finds himself drawn to her in ways he never expected - intrigued by the mystery of the Dragon Blood, and challenged by the quiet power she wields. But beyond personal desires, Xaden also sees her as a key player in the Venin Revolution efforts - a powerful asset whose unique gifts could tip the scales in a war that will decide the fate of kingdoms. Basgiath War College is a hellscape, especially with that swirling relic up my arm. Fourth wing, second squad, flame section is the only way I'm getting through this. Boundlight - Liam Mairi
Every heartbeat I touched stitched itself into me, burning threads of light under my skin. Some were fleeting sparks, gone before I could breathe. Others were storms, all rage and fire. But his - Liam's - was different. Unyieling. Fierce. It anchored me when everything else threatened to shatter me. I should have feared it. Bond this deep were dangerous. They bled, they broke, they destroyed. Fainne warned me that feeling too much could shatter even the strongest rider. And yet, when his hand brushed mine, when his presence steadied the chaos inside me, I craved more. More of his fire. More of his light. Even if it meant I'd burn. - A Liam Mairi x OC fanfiction. Weightless on the Wind || Fourth Wing || (♡ Garrick Tavis)
She crossed the Parapet with her eyes closed. No one knew her name. Not really. Not the riders, not the commandant. Not even the boy she once knew, who now leads the very quadrant she's been thrown into. Aeliana Sorynne is a survivor. Marked by magic, scarred by secrets, raised in the shadows of rebellion. Now, she enters Basgiath War College under a name no one remembers - carrying nothing but a rune, a memory, and the skills of someone who should've died years ago. Assigned to Fourth Wing, Tail Section, Second Squad, Aeliana must navigate brutal training, suspicious cadets, and the heavy eyes of dragons that seem to see more than they should. She's not here to be chosen. She's here to endure. But surviving is never that simple - not when her past walks the same halls, not when dragons are watching, and not when trust could mean everything... or cost her everything.
