For his whole life, Troye Sivan has been the dare-devil of his hometown. He's the impenetrable alien who smokes behind the school building and brings the beer to all the parties, all while singing annoying pop songs that were popular at the time. He drives around in his jeep, not getting too close to anyone in particular, but is still voted most popular. He's the kid in the back of class that has straight-A's and doesn't do the homework. He's the one that Connor Franta can't help but find the most intriguing.
Connor is new to the scene in Greenpoint, California. No one knows him, and he knows no one. So when he accidentally trips over the wires Troye's setting up for the next impromptu show during lunch, Troye takes the liberty of introducing him to the world, and bringing out the best, and worst in Connor, while Troye shows him exactly where "deadly" comes in, in love and in the world around them.

Year or so later edit: this is about ten different kinds of problematic and I've grown as both a writer and person since then, but people like it and I worked REALLY hard on it so I'm keeping it up, but just thought I'd let you all know so no one spends their time calling me out on my awful portrayals of things, and I'm sorry if this gets offensive but who knows I could just be overthinking this.
