Smuggling has become abnormally prevalent on Sodor at the start of the new year, and Thomas has been sent to a foreign island to find the source. But after all communication is lost, some of the engines are sent to locate the missing tank engine. Unfortunately all is not well on the home front...

Darkness (Season 17)
(This takes place after crystalized) (I count Uncharted as a season so that's why it's 17) When the ninja defeat the Overlord along with help from all of Ninjago, they are finally at peace. As they help to clean up the mess, they hear of rumors, saying that there is a new darkness from the Dark Island that they have not been to in years. They decide to go alone, without Master Wu, P.I.X.A.L, or anyone. When they get there, they soon realize that it was more serious than they thought. The island was blocked off, and as the ninja realized that they were going to have to fight harder than ever before when they meet the princess, daughter of the Overlord. She and her army steal the ninja's powers and lock them up. The ninja try to escape, but have bigger issues when Lloyd's oni form starts to hurt his health. Can the ninja save Lloyd, get out of the palace to stop the princess, all on their own, without their powers?

Kai makes terrible plans, but this trip has got to be the worst yet as he literally fights for his life against one or two fellow mythical creatures. He's also fighting for his troubling heart, as the same guy who ruined his life never fails to skyrocket his heart rate through the sky, and churn his stomach like a towel being twisted into a rope. It takes place in an alternate universe during the final battle in Ninjago Crystalized and describes what would happen if the creators of Ninjago had went with their original script for Crystalized. I will be trying to describe the events that might have happened if Lloyd looked right instead of left, becoming overrun by darkness. Will he learn to control the Oni side of himself?
