During her short time at a small camp she meets a teenage boy just a few months older than her, he is smart and vigorous, but his two bad mouthed older brothers are quite a handful.
Being the daughter of a former sheriff - Kayc knows right from wrong - and has always been able to freely speak her mind.
In an end of the world tragedy the right decisions are crucial.
Will Kayc choose the right choices? Or will the wrong ones lead to dreadful consequences? Only time will tell.
