**EVENTUALLY WILL UNERGO MAJOR EDITING** "I love you." He said moving the hair out of my face. My breath caught in my throat. Damn it why did he have to say that? How can someone as perfect as him say he loves someone as screwed up as me? "Don't say that." I said sitting on the edge of the couch, my back to him, and putting more space between us. "Don't tell me you love me, because I witnessed what happened to people who thought they loved each other, they got hurt. Love messes things up." -------------------------------------------Diem Reynolds use to believe that there was a thing called love and that people could actually be happy, until she watched her mother walk out on her and her father. She tries her best to avoid that ever happening to her, but when she gets a new AP Biology teacher will she be able to distance herself from him and try not to fall for him? What will happen when she has to move in with him, and he's the only one that can protect her, will she let him in?

Um, you realize you're having this conversation in front of a full classroom, right?
When you figure out how to end the relationship without him killing himself let me know. My friends boyfriend told her that and she feels trapped in the relationship.
SAVAGEEE AF and he would get in so much trouble for saying that in front of the entire class.

Nah nah nah bruh, nobody says things like that like you're casual friends in front of classroom.
I don't know how I feel about him encouraging her like a friend and not a parent.
You don't smack someone by accident unless your hallucinating. He knows what he did and the fact that he thinks that he can apologize and make everything ok is a warning sign.
