Simon Humphrey has many responsibilities. He has a dukedom to oversee, a wife to find, and a rambunctious family to keep in line, not the least of whom is his youngest sister (and perhaps best friend) Phillipa, who cannot seem to keep a governess. When Mrs Fiona Green appears, references in one hand and her young son Nathaniel clutched in the other, he hopes that at least one of his prayers has been answered, and sets his mind to the important task of finding himself a respectable duchess to share his life.
But something - or someone - seems determined to keep Simon from his goal. As inconvenience, danger, and outright sabotage abound, Simon struggles to keep those in his care safe... and to ignore the sparkling green eyes of the sweet, lovely, and married governess now living within his walls.
After all, Simon Humphrey has many responsibilities. He's just not sure if that includes following his heart.

Grosvenor Square, 1813 The London Social Season has only just begun. With presentations before Her Majesty and new scandals simmering beneath the surface, one must wonder-how will this season unfold? This author, for one, cannot wait to find out. Consider, dear reader, the household of the Dowager Viscountess Bridgerton-who shall not only be shepherding her eldest daughter, Miss Daphne Bridgerton, but also her younger daughter, Miss Elena Bridgerton, through the dizzying whirl of the ton's festivities. Will they find their perfect matches? }~~~~~~~~~~~{ Miss Elena Bridgerton, though perhaps more open to the notion of marriage than her younger twin, Miss Eloise, remains a creature of intellect and curiosity. Her passion for knowledge-and for freedom-burns as brightly as any candle in the Bridgerton library. Follow her as she navigates the intricate waltz between love and liberty, striving to hold onto what little independence society allows her. Simon Basset, the newly minted Duke of Hastings, has but one purpose in London: to settle his late father's affairs before returning to Clyvedon. In no need-and even less desire-of a wife, the Duke has sworn never to marry. But will his resolve remain unshaken once he encounters the spirited and deceptively innocent Miss Bridgerton? Note: This story may include a touch of Daphne-bashing, as her role fades to the periphery while Elena takes center stage. Many familiar scenes will be reimagined and altered to fit this new narrative. Thank you, dear reader, for joining me on this journey. I do hope you enjoy.Complete

A Pact With The Prince | Bridgerton ~ Prince Friedrich
[Draft 1 of Lady Whistledown's Unpublished Papers] Dear Reader, "Egredere Audacter Et Fideliter "~ Go Out Boldly and Faithfully, is the Vincent family motto to which, Diana Vincent, the eldest daughter had followed for most of her life until she had her coming out. Thrust into the ton's vicious arms she finds boldness must be tempered and faith is shaken when it comes to the marriage - mart. It has come to the attention of my all-seeing eye, that she has made an unlikely and powerful ally in none other than the Prince Friedrich of Prussia the dashing nephew of Queen Charlotte. Will this friendship endure the savagery of the ton or will it blossom into something more. Yours Sincerely, Lady Whistledown _____________________________ Prince Friedrich x OC He was one of my favorite characters in the Netflix series and wanted more!
