Alec slowly approached the edge. Gazing down into the shimmering dark waters, he ran his fingers over the cool metal of the railing of the Brooklyn bridge. He stepped over it and held on like his life depended on it.
He could never have that one last memory. He knew that. He just couldn't go on without Magnus. He wasn't going to live without Magnus. His life wasn't worth it.
And if that was how it was going to end, he couldn't stop it.
He was gone.
He didn't know what he was going to do now. What was he expected to do? What do you do when you lose the one person you love the most?
