Vera absolutely hates teenage relationships, she thinks it's time wasting, stupid and idiotic. What she hates the most about teenage relationships is the fact that almost everyone says they're in love with each other then three months past, they break up and then the once so called love-birds despise each other. What knowledge do adolescents have about love (and not the one you share with your family and friends)? Here's the answer; shit!
If there is one thing Vera would never say during her adolescent years is the 'l' word.
Miguel has somewhat the same feeling, he hates the fact that adolescents seem to throw the word 'love' around like the amount of worth that for letter word has is a bucket of shit. What do adolescents really know about love? Do they know the amount of power that word has? Is it all shit to them? Here comes the somewhat part, Miguel doesn't mind being in a relationship. Yet the 'l' word will never slip through his lips while he is an adolescent.
Follow the journey of these teenage 'l' word haters. What shall happen one they cross paths? Will they fall hopelessly in love with one another? Will they use the 'l' word just because? Or would they break each other down with this pseudo relationship?
(ayo, i'm terrible at writing descriptions,(actually even at writing) so maybe read the novel and find out what it is about? please?)
