• Book 3 in the High School series . . .
The high school disaster couple are no longer in high school with all the petty teenage drama.
CJ is now a man of the streets, not that he wasn't before but then - he was a boy. Now as a man, he goes for what he wants and remains indifferent to bullshit. He's sworn off of useless drama, unnecessary factors to his life, and gangs. They get you caught, fucked up, and thrown in some shit you don't even belong in. He learned that firsthand.
Nina, on the contrary, has set out to make herself someone to be proud off. Recently back in town, she's a proud college graduate with stable family support and a roof over her head. The only thing that would disturb her newfound peace with herself would be to fall back into another toxic relationship. But she vows to never lose herself in a man again.
Both have changed in the four years that it's been since they've seen each other, but that's not the only development. Others change too. The circle of change is a never ending cycle to evolution.
