Nearly a century after the last appearance of Sozin's Comet, thirteen-year-old Fire Prince Zuko is banished by his father and given a near-impossible task: find and capture the elusive Avatar, the Fire Nation's greatest threat.
After just three months at sea, he discovers a strange boy frozen in an iceberg.
To both Zuko's confusion and frustration, the Avatar is nothing at all like he expected him to be. Why would he help him and his uncle escape from Admiral Zhao? Why does he insist on dragging them all over the world to the abandoned Air Temples?

Aang believes he has to save the world on his own, but he isn't alone, he has his Fire Angel at his side. The Avatar and Fire Angel are not only destined to be with each other but are destined to save the world together. Allies will become enemies and enemies will become allies. With in desperate need of a firebending teacher, Zuko throws away the need of capturing the Avatar and instead assists him in saving the world and teaching him firebending.
