My parents always told me I wasn’t different, I was unique. I wasn’t weird, I was unique. I wasn’t a freak… I was just… unique.
It sure didn’t feel like that to me. I felt alone, judged, hated, hurt, and every other emotion a boy could possibly feel. Living the way I had to, sucked. I was cut off from everything and everyone. I was always being watched, literally, and it hurt to know that I couldn’t live the way every other teenage boy did.
But, I wasn’t weird. I was just unique.
Adrian lived a difficult life, living with gay parents and being gay himself, he feels different. His parents tell him he’s unique, considering he suffers from CIPA. He can’t feel physical pain, but can feel the emotional pain inflicted on him from his peers who laugh and make fun of him. Moving from his home is hard, but meeting people who will change his life for the better… is even harder. Adrian is met head on with fear, heart break, and even more problems directed from his CIPA. Adrian’s life is about to get really complicated.
