Raven Darkwood is just like everyone else but one problem. She's a selective mute. She just chooses not to speak. Ever since her father died she's been mute, has never uttered a proper word let alone a sentence, her only escape is music and singing until he came along. His name is Zack Nixon and although he's easy on the eyes and everyone will literally worship the ground he walks on and go gaga when he breathes their way; he seems to have a soft spot for little Raven here. He's determined to make her speak but once they grow closer they realise that Raven may have secrets of her own as does Zack.

Through jealousy, home life, school drama and new friendship will she ever speak? Or will she stay mute forever.
