One by one, four people wake up in a strange environment that is trying to simulate life, but it's all artificial. They all have amnesia, and only one of them, Colleen, is able to recall her real name. The others choose a name based on something symbolic to them -- something that they last saw or experienced before they woke up in their new home; Seroquel, Scar, and Regress. As things slowly manifest around them according to their needs and wishes, they begin to recover painful and traumatic memories that cause horrible headaches and miserable aftereffects. Despite learning more and more about themselves, the knowledge of how they got there is still missing. Scar, however, is different. Late one simulated night, a ghostly figure glitches into the strange world to bring answers. It's there for Scar, and it triggers haunting memories of a world-ending scenario he managed to survive. But they're safe now, right? There's no reason to leave the machine's utopia. THERE IS NOTHING ELSE. *This is a work in progress!
