It's been two weeks since Ninjago was under attack from Prince Kalmaar and the thought-to-be-mythical sea serpent Wojira. The city had more or less returned to normal except for one thing. . . No one really knows what exactly happened! All they know is that somehow Wojira was slain.
No one remembers who did it or how it happened but one thing is clear. . .
Things aren't always what they seem to be.
Just as the Ninja get back into their normal routine, Kai starts hearing voices. Thinking nothing of it, he goes about his day, only to later be kidnapped and taken to an ancient kingdom, down into the depths of the last place you would expect to find the hothead.
Who exactly captured the Fire Ninja?
Who does these voices belong to? Are they allies or adversaries?
Can the Ninja find Kai and get back to the surface intact?
Will Kai find the answers to why no one can remember the end of the battle with Worjira? Or will it only lead to more questions?
And more importantly, how will Kai's disappearance affect the team?
