Why, why can't he be a hero thought Izuku as All Might left him alone on the roof top overlooking the city. But little did Izuku knew was he wasn't truly alone rather someone with good intensions was waiting patiently on the roof with him ...a friend.

This is a fanfic asking a question what if Izuku never got One For All and never got a quirk at all. Instead someone one else found him and offered him power that didn't stem from a quirk, rather it stemmed from the use of energies that are better described as magic. As two separate dimensional factions collide, vying for supremacy over the dimension one benign the other not so much.

As you may have guessed I'm covering my butt on this but I don't own or never will own My Hero Academia. The only things I can say I own is well a few characters that are put into this story and concepts that stem from the content these characters originate from, and truth be told I didn't want to write this but I'd rather keep my two hundred dollars and write this fanfic because I lost a bet. I should also mention that this will follow semi-closely to the original story line of MHA with of course deviations as quite a few of the conflicts and plot points stemming from Izuku gaining One For All won't happen. Instead naturally they will be replaced with new plot points and conflicts originating from the absence of them for example the Meta Liberation Army will no doubt be gunning for Izuku due to the fact he has powers without a quirk.

WARNING: Viewer discretion advised. This story contains descriptions of murder, suicide, sex, and other mature content. Spoilers also ahead. ~~ What if Deku wasn't born quirkless? What if the reason for Katsuki's hurtful words had to do with the dark past Inko desperately tried to keep hidden from the outside world? What if becoming a hero wasn't the answer after all? ~~ My eyes widen. "I've decided. Young man, you will inherit my quirk." I let out a sigh of relief, laying down on the ground as my anxiety fades. I'm overwhelmed with joy, tears streaming down my face as my body is overcome with brutal exhaustion. I don't plan on using this power to become a hero, but All Might doesn't need to know that. I can't think of being a hero, or anything else for now. I need to get stronger, even stronger than my father. Wait for me mom, Kacchan, I'm coming. ~~ After that night, things only became harder for Izuku. The mental pressure was too much, to the extent that it took an unhealthy turn. Izuku could barely handle the pressure of having no one to rely on, torn between becoming a hero and being taught how to assassinate by the killer of heroes. It wasn't long before his sanity began to split. ~~ "It's okay. Honestly, you're the first person I've met who doesn't think my quirk is more suited to become a villain.." Shinsou said. After spending so much time with villains, I no longer thought of the word the same. "If you ask villains their story, you'll probably think they'd make pretty good protagonists. We always see things from the hero's perspective but we rarely ask how the villain ended up the way they are. The heroes are the real villains if you ask any villain, and even villains can be a hero to someone." ~~ I killed someone. I know he deserved it, yet I still couldn't look down at my own hands the same. Dried blood covered the bandages I wore around my wrists when I train with Stain. I had no choice but to accept it. I became a hero killer.

In a world where 80% of the population has developed unique mutations in their genetic codes, giving them "superpowers", or "quirks", as they call it, it doesn't take long for fantasy and imagination to emerge out of the earth. And further, it doesn't take long for roles of "Heroes" and "Villains" to rise up as well. But... Who coins one as a "hero" or a "villain"...? The person themselves...? Or the people around them...? Light... Dark... Dusk... Dawn... Two sides of the same coin... Twilight... --- Kageyama Kazuma is a 16 year old boy, aspiring to follow his late father's footsteps, and become a hero who saves people. But... Not all can go as planned, or wished, right? So was the case for Kazuma as well, as his quirk soon found itself being held accountable for Kazuma being coined the word "villain" by those around him, before he could even begin his journey to becoming a hero. His only light in this darkness being his mother, is willing to do whatever it takes to keep that smile she treasures so much to never leave the boy's face. But... Being a human at the end of the day, she can only do so much. Follow Kageyama through his journey to becoming one of the greatest heroes in the entirety of Japan. What awaits him on this journey? Friends? Love? Hardships? That's for you to find out. [This is a rework of my first book ever, "What It Means To Be A Hero"] --- I do not own any claims/rights to the My Hero Academia verse, all rights go to Kosei Horikoshi. I only own the original characters I've added to the story, and the arts I add in the book. In case the art doesn't belong to me, I'll credit the said person in the comments. Peace. Eternal Blood, Hellish Hate by AustinMcCauley

Izuku Midoriya has spent his whole life watching others shine while he, born without a 'strong' quirk, is left in their shadow. His 'friend,' the one who always seemed to get the praise and attention, had the power he could only dream of. But the years of being ignored, ridiculed, and pushed aside have built an anger inside him, one he's struggled to suppress. Izuku Midoriya has spent years watching his so-called friend take center stage, basking in praise and admiration, all for the simple reason that he was born with a strong quirk. Izuku, on the other hand, has always been told he wasn't cut out for greatness. Without a fighting quirk, he was considered weak, useless-just a failure in a world that demands strength. But the frustration, the pain, the feeling of being invisible, it's all built up inside him, day after day, until it becomes something darker, something more dangerous. One day, as he walks down an alley, that rage explodes. His classmates, those he once called friends, attack him-mocking him for being weak, for not having a quirk that could make him special. They laugh at him, taunt him, but this time it's different. This time, something inside Izuku wanted to snaps but for his mother he'd hold on. "Why did she do this? Why did she leave me?" Notes: I don't own anything, all rights go to their respective creators and I don't get any money from this. yes the justice league is in this story but none have quirks (besides thoses whose powers are called meta powers then they consider them quirks) and everything that's main story canon was canon BUT no one who didn't need to know, knows. why? thanks to magic. Batman is still a vigilante until the justice league was made.

All his life Izuku Midoriya dreamed of becoming a hero just like his biggest inspiration, All Might. It didn't matter if he was quirkless... Right? One day, the young boy got to meet his hero. He asks the question he'd been dying to ask, but afraid of knowing the answer nevertheless. The answer crushed him. That was the day he let go of his dreams. Izuku Midoriya, the quirkless loser. That's what he'd always be. No one believed in him anymore. Not even himself. Until... The league of villains offered him acceptance. They told him that he WAS good enough. But does Midoriya truly belong as a villain? It may be time for him to pick to side... COMPLETED/ August 14, 2019 !Trigger Warning! This story contains blood, violence, gore, strong language, and some sadistic stuff I guess? xD Read at your own risk! Cover image art isn't mine, however, I did do the editing for it! Also, the characters in this fanfiction aren't mine at all either! [Okay, so ships. There is Tododeku and Bakudeku in here. But to be clear, it's not a huge part of the plot so if you came here for it, you might be somewhat disappointed, which is why I'm saying it. I got rid of the tags for them cuz I didn't want to disappoint people but now people think this is a straight story somehow so I'm putting the tags back out to weed out the homophobes B)]
