A Wolf's Kitten
Elizabeth Ivory is one out nearly two-thousand were-cats. Being born around 1785, she has seen what most people can not even imagine. Of course, it doesn't help that she was the key witness to the entire slaughter of her Family, the were-cat royals. Now, two-hundred year later, she has grown into something even the most powerful people fear, though no-one knows her true identity.
She is the Alpha of the most diverse and powerful pack/cult/pride in North America. Being Female and a shifter from a nearly extinct category means that no-one has actually met her. Her pack is known as the Rouge-Pack, meaning unlike others they take in rouges and supernatural that have been displaced for reason that they cannot control.
On her way back from a secret mission across the pond, she accidently roams into the strongest werewolf pack in North America. Not knowing exactly what to do, she hides her scent and pretends to be a Rouge, suffering the same fate as other Rouges who roam onto their pack.
What no-one knows is this was the pack that she saved from extinction nearly a century before ago. Before they can hang her for her "crimes", the elders come to her rescue, shocking everyone, including the Beta, who was the one that was about to execute her. Unaware that her destiny is about to be fulfilled, she ends up leaving the pack, right before her Mate returns from the International Meeting of Supernatural Beings.
When duty calls and an unlikely force drives her back to the pack once again, what will her reaction be to finding her mate, who she had so long-ago given up on? How will she handle their fights, as two dominate fires fight for the control of the other? And what happens when an old enemy returns, threating her new-found happiness after destroying it 200 years ago?
