After saving Cardin's life in the Forever Fall, his transcripts ends up getting revealed not by the Winchester - but by Weiss and Pyrrha. Jaune gets singled out by most of the student body, with Ozpin and the teachers trying the best they could (minus Goodwitch) to stop the students from bullying and even attacking Jaune, but they find ways to do it without their notice.
Jaune gets replaced by one of his sisters, and to make matters worse - his family disowns Jaune from the Arc name and forced him to hand over Crocea Mors, leaving him weaponless.
Yang and Weiss regularly ridicule Jaune (and in Yang's case, beats him up), Blake felt like he got away with forging the transcripts but remained neutral about it since she is ex-White Fang - and Ruby felt hurt from the revelation, and from not being able to do anything because of Yang. Nora and Ren were upset but stood by Jaune's side, their trust in Pyrrha broken.
Cardin, after the events transpired - had a reaction nobody expected from the bully: he of all people was disgusted by what happened. He attempted to talk to Jaune in private when a rift in space-time sucks both of them in, sending them to Mobius.
Stranded in a new world, Jaune and Cardin must work together to explore the new place they ended up in and if possible, find a way back home - and along the way, they slowly but surely understood and acknowledged each other with what they can do individually, and taking those individual capabilities and working together - they become a duo that shook the very foundations of Mobius with their synergy.

As he's kidnapped, he finds something very old and he becomes someone else completely; an Assassin. He'll soon understand the world more and the words that he always heard but never understood will finally make sense: "Where other men blindly follow the truth, Remember, nothing is true. Jaune's transcripts are revealed early after Cardin hears him tell Pyrrha about them, with this Jaune decides to distance himself from his team so they don't get ridiculed. This however leaves him alone with only verbal support by his team and friends, and he is forced to live outside the dorms for a bit. For a few months Jaune makes himself a home in the Forest of Beacon and due to some political nonsense he has to send his weapon back home, he has to use spare weapons from the armory at the school and learn how to use them. In no time he gets better and through training he catches up to his friends, but thats not all fate has in store for him as he would become more than just a man, he would become the 'Dark Knight' of Remnant.

This is an alternate RWBY universe where a counterpart of Jaune was created after the real one fell into the void. He doesn't remember the events of the volumes but now him and the others can be warned. Summer, Glynda, and Cinder are Jaune's aunts in this one, making Jaune the cousin of Ruby Rose (on Summer's side), Oscar Pine (adopted by the Rose/Xiao-Long Family), and Neo (on Cinder's side). Roman and Cinder are married while having Neo as their daughter. Qrow and Summer are married too and Qrow is Ruby's father while they have adopted Oscar. Whitley Schnne is now nicer and is in love with Penny. Oscar, Whitley, Blade, and Bang are the male version of Team RWBY and younger brothers of them but Yin hates Yang, which the feeling is mutual because she sees her brothers as an immature monster, which is hypocritical since she's in it for the thrill of being a huntress. Johann Arc and Sierra Arc are cousins of Jaune but they act more like older siblings. Cardin's family is invited as well but his sister, mother, uncle, aunt, and male cousin don't act like him. There are new students in this universe: Team BLUE and Team PRON from Beacon, Team ARC, Team DETA, and Team BACH from Atlas, Team DOOM and Team HOPE from Haven, and Team DAWN and Team SAND from Shade.
