Sometime after the events of LUNA ON THE RUN, Luna and her mechanical cat Freckles have taken up the role of vigilantism in Carmsborough, looking to rid it of the mob boss Bijabers' influence. Despite her noble cause, her unconventional ways and distressed morals bring her many opponents, like S6, a secret American government organization, and the other vigilante duo of Carmsborough: Orion and the Clockwork. Now Luna must race the clock and remain anonymous while cleaning up the streets of Carmsborough under her threatening new alias: The Blood Moon Pirate.
