Devon Woods is a dancer who attends a prestigious, private high school in the wealthy town of Prenich, CT. She has a dependable older brother, a know it all little sister, and the best friends a black girl could ask for at a mostly white school. When she starts to catch a vibe between herself and her friend Charlie, she has trouble admitting her feelings to not only him, but to herself too. Charlie Park loves street photography, his family, and his friends. He's pretty shy, but his friends have slowly helped him open up, especially Devon. But when he starts to develop feelings for her, he feels like he doesn't stand a chance. He doesn't know if he should go for it and risk embarrassing himself or changing their friend group. They're friends are like their second family. Devon and her girls love to dance, and the boys love photography. They support and protect each other. Will their friend group last amongst secret crushes, family drama, and scholarship competition? They may fall in love with each other, hurt each other, hide things from each other, but they're all really good friends. Or at least, they're learning how to be.
