Growing up different from the crowd is never easy, and Brex knows this better then anyone. Brex has always had issues with other people, she hates social interaction, so she chooses not to talk to other people. She only talks to her family, and her parents constantly pester her and push her to be someone she isn't. Brex deals with the daily issues that come with being know as the school freak. In an attempt to push her self Brex steps from her comfort zone and begins to fight against the social anxiety, socially awkward, and depressed status that follows her like a weight chained to her ankle. When Brex meets a boy who shows interest in her she begins to see a different world in front of her, and experiences new things that she had never dreamed of living.
Socially Awkward is a story about battling being different from societies standards, finding ones self, and experiencing new love and emotions never experienced before.
