Validation

Tonight was supposed to be a great night for billionaire and philanthropist Oslo Tang. He's waiting to accept an award for his good deeds at an award ceremony with his beautiful date sitting at his side. He listens to the glowing words from the presenter (which Oslo's team influenced) and he can't wait to get on stage to accept the award and give his speech.

When that time comes Oslo's dreams becomes a nightmare as boos ring out from the audience. Stuck on stage, Oslo must deal with the poor reception and not destroy his public reputation.

Author's Note: I got the idea for this story after Elon Musk was booed at the Dave Chappelle's show in San Francisco back in December 2022. I found it weird how Musk, who has it all per society's standards, would yearn for validation from strangers he never met. And when he didn't get it, out came the excuses and ridicule for the audience.
