Her last year in high school isn't going to be simple as she thought.


"Don't let me catch you cupcake" his voice boomed from downstairs and I ran looking where to hide.

I shield myself behind a pole and tried to calm my nerves. 

Way to go Stephanie my subconscious mind chimed in.

I held my breath as I heard his footsteps. 

"Where are you cupcake?" he asked and I scoffed internally. Like I would tell him where I am.

I waited for few seconds and then I heard nothing. I felt a hand snake around my waist and I didn't need to turn around to know who it is.

"Found you" he whispered into my ear and a shiver ran down my spine.

"How?" I breathed turning around to face him and he smirked knowing the effect he has on me.

'Get your shits together fool' I mentally scolded myself.

"Do you really want a real or sugarcoated explanation?" he asked and I gave him a pointed look.

"I could smell you a mile away"he whispered putting a lock of my hair behind my ear and butterflies fluttered in my stomach. 

This guy is going to be the death of me.

"That is the sugarcoated version"he said and I blinked few times.

I glared hard at him. "The pole didn't hide you well. I could see your cardigan peeking out"he said and I rolled my eyes at him. 

"Now time for my revenge" he whispered. 

I had a confused look on while he had his infamous smirk on. This can't be good! I felt something trickle down my body. I wiped my face and glared daggers at him. 

He didn't just pour flour on me even though I did the same.

Isn't he suppose to be the mature one in this relationship? 


Putting on a poker face. "Mature much!" I said and walked away from him pretending to be angry.

Time for acting!
