Life Force [UNEDITED]
*CURRENTLY REWRITING/EDITING/PREPARING FOR LITERARY AGENTS.
I'm going to give you a few things for starters. You have aliens taking over the entire planet, five soldiers, and six civilians. Jackie Martin is one of them, the brave, sarcastic, and slightly egotistical teenager who is more intrigued in the aliens that roam their precious planet rather than a way to not be killed by them. Yet what I really want you to do is start thinking about Jackie's story. Her group travels to many places from their starting point in Beverly Hills, California. Take Durango, Colorado, for instance. They look for refuge from the horrific, unearthly, blood-thirsty beings that came from an unknown place beyond their galaxy, but it seems that everywhere they go these aliens are there, ready to strike. At the same time, someone else falls in love with Jackie, making Jackie's life much harder than it needs to be, with aliens trying to kill them at every second and all. Yet the group, or perhaps just Jackie, learns more and more about these creatures, and the glowing red life force that keeps them alive in the first place. Now that you know that, what do you think will happen to Jackie and her group, along with the hundreds, probably thousands, of aliens coming?

Highest Rank - #27 in Science Fiction. (Thank you! Wow!)
To Brianne Rondello, whose intelligence and creativity helped me through most of this book. She could come up with the coolest ideas and craziest plot twists---not to mention character development, that's the worst! She also helped make the story pretty depressing, which counts for something. Thanks for the loads of help, Brianne. Also, to Hannah H., for being such a big supporter of this novel, bearing with me through all of the questions I've asked her, and for helping me with some of my dilemmas overall. Love you both!
