Twenty years ago she lost the ability to walk. She runs the Black Moon Pack alone and in isolation and refuses to let anyone outside of the pack see her. She doesn't want to find her mate in fear of what he, or she, may think of her disability. She almost never allows people from outside of the pack in.

He is one of the twelve in the Order of the Alpha's. He gave up trying to find his mate after his long search of twelve years, traveling all over the world in serach for his pack's Luna. The one place he could never check was the Black Moon Territory, so he was certain she was there. When the rumors of the unknown leader of the Black Moon Pack letting in a small group of rogues into the territory, which is against Werewolf Laws set by the Order, raises suspicion, he eagerly volunteers to find out this pack's secrets.
