"Let me help you!" I shout furious that he wouldn't let me in.
"I don't need your pity!" he shouts back, his Adam's apple bobbing up and down.
"Are you for real?" I ask, "this is me trying to care for you, Let me in," I say gently but strongly.
"That's the problem!" He yells in a tired voice.
"What is the problem?" I ask in a softer tone, taking a step closer to him. I notice our close proximity and hear his pounding heart, but don't do anything about it.
"I'm scared!" he replies, his voice raspy from all the yelling.
"Of what?" I ask trying to keep my patience, but losing it.
He falls on his knees, grabbing his head with both his hands, "Of letting people in."
He then did something that I had told him to do since forever; he covered his eyes using his hands and sobbed, he sobbed till there were no tears left, he sobbed to forget the pain and he grabbed his hair pulling on it hard as he screamed.
I froze as I realized two things:
One that Aiden needs someone to be with him. And two, I think I'm falling for him.
Evelyn Marie O'Connor is a good girl with a horrible past. She is kind, funny, sarcastic, caring and mainly loving.
Aiden Chase Carter is the epitome of negativity. He is rude, mean but hella soft inside, not to mention his disturbing past.
One decision that changed Evelyn and Aiden's lives forever. Join the journey of two broken souls, learning to love themselves; friendship, humour, revenge, hate, drama, tears and most importantly LOVE.
