He bites his lower lip, a mischievous glint in his eyes, and in one swift motion, pulls her toward himself. The next second, she feels her back hit the mattress. Her wrists are pinned beneath his strong hands as he hovers over her, his presence overwhelming.

For the first time, she admits-she feels small. Her delicate frame fits perfectly beneath his, as if it was meant to be there.

A smirk tugs at his lips as he looks down at her struggling beneath him. She writhes beneath his grip, trying her best to break free, but he only tightens his hold, pinning her wrists firmly above her head.

He leans in, his voice grazing her cheek like a whisper, "I didn't hold you to let you go."

His lips trace from her cheek to her ear, his breath hot and teasing against her skin.

In a hoarse whisper that makes her shiver, he murmurs,
