Anyway, it's an awful story about a dark secret past with Bakugo and Midoriya that they're trying to navigate while also navigating their relationship. Seriously, it's bad. I recommend the rewrite if you want to read it. Description for book one of the rewrite: Bakugo's a walking and talking nightmare. He has one last chance to clean up his act before he gets expelled. One last chance to change his future. Midoriya can't say no. He can't put his foot down and ends up letting everyone walk all over him to the point that he's exhausted and miserable. Izuku Midoriya formerly izuku yagi had a good life up until he was diagnosed quirkless. He was neglected and beaten by his own (all might and magnetic) family and (1A) friends. Over the years izuku learn how to defend himself in private, read comics from before quirks were around and learning about heroes quirks. One day, while izuku is running away from his tormentors, he runs into the forest to lose them. After he does he realizes he's lost and then he sees a meteor coming towards him. After it crashes izuku feels like it's calling to him, he goes near it and almost in an instant he feels a sudden surge of power and strength he never felt before. Now with these new abilities he will become the next number one hero and symbol of hope.
