When a darkness spreads across Mirkwood, a mighty elven kingdom is robbed from its bliss. A once vibrant people hides behind the walls of their kingdom and the forest grew into a bleak and uneasy place.
The other realms suspected Thranduil of being embittered by Saurons return, the growing darkening of his kingdom and the domination of Shelob's children beneath the canopy of his forest.
Nothing could've been further from the truth.
There was another reason why Thranduil grew bitter and isolated. A reason no one dared to speak about. And as people stopped talking about it, memories faded, got twisted and turned, until dozens of versions left people confused. They had forgotten Thranduils love for life, for his kingdom. The memories fell into extinction and people no longer remembered. Except for Thranduil.

This is the story of Thranduil and the memories he hid in the depths of his soul. A pain that has wrenched his heart. A pain that can best be described as; 'agony.'

In a quiet town on the edge on Mirkwood, an elf child named Thaila was found with striking white hair, unique blue and amber eyes, and a gentle soul. As she grew into a young woman, puberty unleashed a surge of hidden powers within her. She grew majestic dragon horns, an enchanting tail, and impressive wings. The villagers, initially accepting, turned against her in fear, claiming that she was cursed. Haunted by grief and regret, Thaila distanced herself, rejecting people altogether and sinking into deep despair. She turned to self-harm as a coping mechanism, cutting herself as penance for her perceived curse. Then, news emerged of a potential cure in the mysterious land of Mirkwood, but fear engulfed Thaila. However, Legolas, captivated by her tale, offered his companionship and promised protection along the journey. Initially reluctant, Thaila eventually agreed to leave the only home she had ever known. As they traversed through the dense, enchanted forests of Mirkwood, she discovered newfound strength and resilience in the company of her unlikely ally. Upon reaching their destination, Thaila and Legolas knelt before the wise King Thranduil of Mirkwood, Legolas' father. They beseeched his wisdom, seeking the cure that lingered on the edge of their dreams. As the story unfolds, Thaila learns to embrace her inner power and beauty, realizing that she has been blessed with unique, extraordinary gifts rather than curses. 34 parts Complete
In the heart of the cursed Mirkwood Forest, Legolas, the prince of the woodland realm, is haunted by an inexplicable feeling of being watched. Unbeknownst to him, his every move is shadowed by a female elf (I am not going to reveal the name), the enigmatic and fiercely skilled general of the Mirkwood army, who has vowed to protect her prince and her king - Thranduil. Legolas, however, remains unaware of her presence. Every midnight, she cloaks herself in secrecy and ventures out to meet him, masking her identity. Under the cover of darkness, she observes him carefully. Amidst the looming threats of darkness creeping into Mirkwood, the unlikely bond between Legolas and the general becomes both a source of strength and vulnerability. When news of the One Ring's existence and its devastating power reaches the woodland realm, Legolas, along with a fellowship of brave companions, embarks on a perilous quest to destroy the Ring and save Middle-earth from the clutches of darkness. In a tale of hidden identities, midnight meetings, and unspoken emotions, "Shadows of Mirkwood" explores the profound connection between two souls destined to protect their realm and, in the process, find solace in each other's arms. As they face the ultimate quest to destroy the Ring, their love becomes a beacon of hope in the face of overwhelming darkness. Will their love withstand the challenges of secrecy, duty, and the temptation of the Ring, or will the shadows that brought them together also tear them apart?
